Isaac Wooten
I work at the intersection of design, engineering & product.
Sr. Staff UX Design Manager at Google, where I lead design at scale in Data Cloud UX. Founder & CEO of Digital Pool, co-founder & CTO of HangarX, and co-founder & CDO of LunarCrush.
A generalist by instinct: I move between the canvas, the codebase, and the company — close enough to the craft to ship, far enough back to set direction.

About.
25+ years of design and development experience creating products and companies from 0 → 1 — from Nintendo and RED Digital Cinema to Gaikai (acquired by Sony PlayStation) and AKTA (acquired by Salesforce). I’ve spent 12 years at Google building Google Cloud Platform, first as a UX designer and now as a manager; today I lead the design of AI-native data & analytics experiences for Data Cloud UX — big-data tooling that’s become critical infrastructure for AI itself.
My focus today is Google, but I’m also building HangarX, an applied-AI venture lab, and making Digital Pool AI-native. Earlier I co-founded LunarCrush. I’m happiest as a generalist: close enough to the craft to ship, and far enough back to set direction.
I’ve made the long way south — from Fairbanks, Alaska, where I grew up, to Seattle for college, then Southern California, Texas, and now Northwest Arkansas. The frontier, build-it-yourself instinct came with me the whole route.

Designing for the Agentic Era
When software stops waiting for clicks and starts acting on intent, design’s job changes — from the screen to the loop, from polish to legibility, from control to trust.
